Samsung Galaxy S5 Active Revealed in Two New Videos

Of all the upcoming Galaxy S5 variants set to the hit the market this summer, the Galaxy S5 Active seems to be the one receiving the least amount of press. Gotta admit it’s quite hard to steal the spotlight from two Galaxy devices that sport a 2K display and 20.7MP lens, respectively that is. Nonetheless, Samsung is determined to launch the rugged Android handset. And if these two new hands-on videos are of any indication, we’ll see the device hit AT&T.

TK Tech News managed to procure footage of the Galaxy S5 Active, showcasing its updated design with new housing and some minor specs. Judging from the look, the model will sport the same three-button layout in the front and hefty exterior, though nothing indicates it will promote a standout design feature.

Watching the videos, we get the sense of the GS5 Active’s screen being “more crisp.” Other noticeable attributes include the patented heart-rate monitor, removable battery, and Android 4.2.2. Check out the clips to see what the phone is working with.
