One (if not, all) might ask why would Samsung release another water-resistant Galaxy S5 variant, especially when the original model is made to sustain aqua. Good question, but don’t expect the mobile giant to give answers. Instead, expect the company to continue pumping out premium versions of its flagship device, such as the new Galaxy S5 Active exclusive to AT&T.
Rocking pretty much the same internals as its sibling, the handset sets itself apart with a more rugged and sturdy design, which makes it a suitable companion for outdoor adventures. The frame boasts dust-proof casing, shock resistance, and water resistance as well. Samsung’s also thrown in some specific features exclusive to the device including a ‘convenience key’ to launch apps related to outdoor activities, a built-in heart rate monitor, and S-Health integration.
