DLC Goodies
Platinum Games has some goodies lined up for MGR fans as it’s made the decision to support downloadable VR missions via downloadable content. VR missions are an apt addition to the Metal Gear series, having already been included on-disc in the original Metal Gear Solid and receiving top billing for Metal Gear Solid: VR Missions here in states. The training missions features simple micro-challenges that test a player’s speed, stealth, and aiming skills.
On top of that, gamers can receive the Cyborg Ninja DLC skin, which allows you to play as Grey Fox from the original MGS complete with his Fox Blade—an upgradable item within the game btw. Those in Australia and Europe will have a code bundled with their purchase to download the DLC, while it will be a pre-order bonus in America through GameStop. But for those looking to undertake their own VR mission at the moment, a demo for Revengeance is available right now free for Gold subscribers on Xbox Live and all PlayStation Network users.
