A developer at Naughty Dog admits that the original Uncharted shared a surprising resemblance to the early in development of 2007’s Game of the Year: BioShock.
Evan Wells, co-president of the developing company said that early in the development process Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune took place inside an underwater facility, which he compared to Bioshock.
It was apparently still in this state when it was pitched and accepted by Sony. He also toyed about the irony of the fact that Bioshock once took place on a tropical island early in its own development.
