Folding Display Concept
Designer: MobiLeaks
Smartphone manufacturers are already toying with the concept of bendable handsets, just reference the LG G Flex due out at the end of the month. How about a phone that actually folds in half and transforms into a music player? Insane. Mobileleaks brings such an idea to life with its futuristic rendering, placing the physical button at the top of the screen to make folding the device more seamless. It also flaunts a slim profile and flexible battery.
Edge-to-Edge Concept
Designer: Ivo Maric
If Samsung is really keen on sticking to its accessible rear design, the company should take this rendering into consideration. A 5.25-inch Super AMOLED display, aluminum body frame, faux leather rear, and super-slim profile—Ivo Maric’s concept could possibly be the closest thing to the GS5 on the patent end. Gotta love the haptic button setup on the bottom of the screen as well.
