4K Display Concept
Designer: Ashraf Amer
A bendable handset featuring premium specs warranted to a 4K TV, this GS5 offering dons a metal polycarbonate shell and plasters a 4K Super Flexible 5.25-inch OLED on the front—a panel that’s impervious to scratches and water at that. Other dope specs include a fingerprint scanner, Iris scanner, Octa-Core MediaTek 2GHZ CPU, 16MP camera with low-light capture, 5MP front-facing camera with 4K-video capture, 5GB of RAM, and stereo sound speakers on the rear. That’s some amazing hardware to stock in a curvaceously thin smartphone, but more power to the designer for thinking big.
Unibody Concept
Designer:Tobias Hornof
Nearly identical to an HTC design, Tobias takes the premium guts of the GS5 and encloses it all in a unibody chassis, which looks far sexier than the plastic/cheap leather rear of the recent Galaxy devices. This prototype ditches the physical home button in favor of the ultramodern haptic keys setup, while incorporating a dominating spec sheet that consists of a 64-bit processor, 32/64GB storage, 16MP camera with dual-flash module, and 8MP front-facing shooter. We’ll take this any day.
