Installing Apps From SD Card
Visit the Windows Phone Store from your PC and head to the landing page to choose any app or game. In the left column, at the very bottom (and well hidden), you’ll see a download link. Click to download the app or right-click and choose ‘Save As’.
Controlling Volume & Media Playback
Instead of unlocking the phone to adjust volume on the touchscreen, use the volume rockers when the phone is sleeping. You can even change tracks if needed by pressing the power button to bring up the lock screen wallpaper—inlaid in this will be music controls and confirmation of what’s playing at the moment. Having used these controls, the lock-screen will disappear on its own in a few seconds or you can just press the power button again.
