Transfer Contacts
So you just made the jump to a new Windows Phone device, or better yet, look to test the waters by switching to Microsoft’s platform. Now you’re worrying about transferring over primary contacts. No sweat. Log into your Microsoft account through the phone anf gain immediate access to your contacts. But if you’re coming from Android or iOS, there are two ways to go about bringing these over. Copy all contacts to a SIM and import them into the new device. No SIM card on hand? Use an app called “Transfer my Data” to copy both contacts and text messages to your new phone. Ahh, the beauties of Bluetooth.
Attach Locations To Maps App
Trying to text and show your location at the same time is now a possibility. You can compose a text, tap the paper clip icon, and attach your location directly to a message, which receivers will have to open up in the browser. Now if the other person has a Windows Phone, they’ll receive a thumbnail of your location on the Maps app, which they can open up from there.
