The 3D Experience
Aside from Avatar, third-dimensional visuals have yet to be perfected on the big screen. But you have to applaud directors for filming (not converting) their movies using the eye-popping format. This being Ridley Scott’s first 3D picture, the visionary stated he would settle for nothing less than 3D visuals for all his future works. And judging by the cut scenes and early reviewers, you’d be a sucker not to drop the extra cash and watch Prometheus the way Scott intended it to be viewed.
Gruesome Scenes
Spoiler Alert: Prometheus carries a huge death toll. So expect some A-list talent to meet their fate at the hands (or tentacles) of the so-called engineer. Early previews of the film indicate some pretty horrific death scenes and mutations. So make sure to save that appetite for after the film’s conclusion or you just might end up heaving chunks in the theater aisle. We’re kidding. But seriously, expect some gruesome shiznit.
