Design and Sepcs
Nothing was really shared about the construction of the console. All we know is it looks extremely affluent and gorgeous.
Under the hood lies a system that boasts an 8-core CPU with 64-bit architecture, 500GB hard drive, 8GB of RAM, USB 3.0, Wi-Fi direct, Blu-Ray drive, and freaking 5 billion transistors. Damn. The One controller takes on a similar build pedigree as the 360 gamepad, though it’s been updated with over 40 design innovations, a newly designed d-pad and programmable triggers. A new Kinect sensor is also being introduced, redesigned to work in harmony with the controller and Smart Glass app.
Microsoft also spoke about the new Xbox Live, indicating the service will now support 300,000 servers worldwide. Live will also be cloud-enabled and provide access to content anywhere. On top of that, there will be a dedicated game DVR to capture a player’s best gaming moments. We can only imagine the insane gaming tournament battles that will take place on here.
