EA’s New Engine Will Ignite the Xbox One

The creators of Madden have been Microsoft’s biggest supporter dating back to the early Xbox 360 days. Now the sports gaming staple will bring some additional power to the Xbox One in the form of a new engine called Ignite. The technology is said to power all of the company’s upcoming titles and deliver a more human-like experience via advanced physics. Ignite will generate processing power nearly 10x better than its previous engine.

EA says it will also bring four new titles to the market within the next four months: FIFA ’14, Madden 25, NBA Live ’14, and UFC. Finally, it will integrate a feature that allows gamers to stream new content on Xbox Live.
