The Galaxy Alpha, Galaxy F, and Galaxy Prime nicknames seem to variate loosely with each new rumor—most indicating the powerful hold of the Samsung’s S5 Prime acclaimed king features on the tech market. However, the raved 5-inch screen sporting 1080p resolution of the S5 Prime will come up 2 inches shorter than expected with a resolution of 720p.

This latest speculation is sparked by reports from a known Samsung tracking site, Sammobile. Accordingly, other reports have taken jabs at the high-end quality of the device downgrading the hardware. Despite leaks alleging the S5 Prime will feature Qualcomm’s quad-core Snapdragon 805 processor, Samsung’s Exynos 5 Octa chipset and premium metal body.

Surprisingly, all this hearsay abounds without any confirmation of a new handset in the works by Samsung. Whether or not this is true, Samsung still boasts an elite mobile line, reinforced by the recent S5 and S5 Active offerings. But, will that be enough competition for the iPhone 6? Don’t think so.
