‘COD: Advanced Warfare’ Multiplayer Reveal Coming August, Watch 5 Seconds Now

Activision’s new trailer for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare offers new insights into the game’s world and story and reveals that the title’s official multiplayer world premiere will occur on August 11.

The previews explains that in the universe of Advanced Warfare, massive terrorist attacks have forced the government to turn to a private military company called Atlas, which is headed by Kevin Spacey’s character Johnathan Irons. Expect to see a lot of the future tech that populates the game’s universe, from a walking tank to a killer swarm of flying robots. The trailer also showcases the power of the EXO suit-equipped soldiers, who are seen jumping high walls, grappling onto overpasses, and sending enemies flying with a kick.

After the preview ends, there is a brief five-second clip of the game’s multiplayer, followed by the announcement that the game’s multiplayer will be officially premiered on August 11. The game’s Facebook page contains further details, announcing that the reveal will occur on the Advanced Warfare website at 10 AM Pacific Time.
