After declaring bankruptcy, Midway Games is now officially an asset of Warner Bros. The house that created Joust, Rampage, Spy Hunter and Mortal Kombat was brought for $33 million by the entertainment giant. Now under the WB umbrella, no announcements have been made concerning any game franchises, or the resurrection of the Spy Hunter film (which is still in limbo) or the MK rehash. I can only imagine what spin-offs await us know; how about Mortal Kombat Vs. Looney Tunes? I sense the rabbit has a couple of finishers up his sleeves.
