Truth be told, the Wii U can benefit from more hi-definition ports, as the moderate success of Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD has proven to be one of the console’s better offerings. And if every Nintendo fanboy had their wish, then we would see another Wii classic make the same transition, that being Skyward Sword. NintendoLife user Rory Cocker put together what the site calls a “hypothetical demonstration” of the game rendered in 1080p HD resolution, which looks quite impressive to say the least.
Keep in mind to take in the full experience you have to set the video at 1080p. Watch it below and see if its enough to gauge your interest in a Skyward Sword HD release for the Wii U. Certainly has our vote.
