Tecmo Koei, the company behind Dynasty Warriors, is giving diehard Nintendo fans another fresh look at its upcoming Zelda spinoff: Hyrule Warriors. The latest trailer for the hack-n-slash title features Link showcasing his latest weapon, the fire rod—a weapon capable of shooting out swirling pillars of fire and a massive energy bolt.
Link’s newest addition to his arsenal isn’t the only news for fans, as two new playable have also been confirmed—the first being Agitha from Twilight Princess, while the second will be a character Lana, which caries an unknown background. Speculation is leading to her possibly being the Princess from animated series Captain N: The Game Master. We won’t confirm that though. ,em>Hyrule Warriors is set for release on August 14 for the Wii U.
