The gaming community has been anticipating an official announcement from Activision regarding the next Call of Duty. Well, MP1st is confirming the publisher will unveil the newest title in the FPS franchise (recently dubbed Blacksmith) sometime next month. The publication believes a revealing next month is high due to Activision’s marketing track record, referencing the several hints that surfaced online for Call of Duty: Ghosts around the same exact time last year.
Last week, IGN revealed the first official image for the next-gen Call of Duty title, which showcased one of the in-game character’s faces. Though it’s unclear if this is actually a look at the Sledgehammer Games-developed entry or maybe another Infinity Ward COD game. Either way, fingers crossed for a live-action teaser on May 1.
