X-Force Movie

For those who like their X-Men a little more militant, word is that a big-screen adaptation of X-Force will be coming to movie screens. The film is said to be in development by 20th Century Fox, with Lauren Donner producing and Jeff Wadlow, who just finished Kick Ass 2, coming onboard as writer and likely direct.

X-Force was created by Rob Liefeld and is a new incarnation of the New Mutants. The team, which originally was lead by Cable was the more aggressive and militant arm of the X-Men regime and went through a number of incarnations that had some of the X-Men franchise’s most notable characters: including Cable, Jubilee, Psylocke, Shatterstar, Domino, X-23, Archangel, and Wolverine. We are excited to see which of Hollywood’s brightest stars join the project. Let the guessing game begin.
