So peep the situation. Marvel has plans of featuring the Quicksilver character in both X-Men: Days of Future Past and The Avengers 2. Problem: We’re talking two different film franchises from two different film studios, which requires two different actors. So with 20th Century Fox already casting Evan Peters (American Horror Story) for the X-Men sequel. Who’s the frontrunner for The Avengers follow-up? Looks like Kick-Ass star himself Aaron Taylor-Johnson is being courted for the role.
Word is Marvel has a huge interest in the young actor suiting up as the superhuman-speed mutant. Nothing has been confirmed as of yet. We’ll see how all of this plays out as we head into San Diego Comic-Con next month.
