After being rumored for the past couple of weeks, Samsung’s made the Galaxy S4 Mini official on the Samsung Mobile Twitter page. The downsized version of the popular Android phone will boast a 4.3-inch display and 1.7GHz dual-core CPU, which is less powerful hardware than what its bigger brother is working with. Regarding dimensions, the GS4 Mini looks to weigh in at 3.8 ounces.
Other notable specs include an 8MP rear camera, 1.9MP front-facing camera, 8GB of internal memory, microSD card slot, 1,900mAh battery, 3G/LTE connectivity, and Wi-Fi.
No availability or pricing has been made as of yet, though the company plans on giving media some hands-on time with the device at its Samsung Premiere event in London on June 20th. Think it’s too soon for another Galaxy phone? Let alone, a smaller sized one?
