A Sega rep confirmed in Europe that a new Sonic game titled “Sonic Anniversary” is in development to celebrate the speedy hedgehog’s 12th anniversary. The remake will include a culmination of 2D and 3D environments. The popular levels will be “updated” and be available on the PS3, Wii, DS and PSP. An Xbox 360 is up in the air as of now. Sonic 4 is proving to bring the speedy hedgehog back from the dead, but lets hope Sega doesn’t disappoint Sonic’s die-hard fans.
