Windows Phone developers may have created one of the best mobile phone cameras, but in many other arenas, they have failed to get the big picture. Fortunately for users, WP creators are starting to focus in on what the people really want – apps. Pinterest, a social media platform meant for sharing and organizing images and interests, has finally joined the list of apps available for Microsoft’s mobile platform. As Pinterest apps already exist for both iOS and Android devices, now we’re all free to pin as we please.

Unfortunately, the program is still pretty primal. While users can perform basic tasks provided by the mobile site, they cannot access the shortcuts and tools offered on the iOS and Android versions. In time, however, updates to the app will improve its quality and functionality. For now, Windows Phone users are just excited to start pinning on the go. After all, better late than never, right?

Download the Pinterest app at the Windows Phone Store.
