Mortal Kombat X was showcased at E3 this year, basically several days ago. Although we haven’t been given a lot of information, this video shows some of the in-game combat. Needless to say, it all looks brutal! Movements are very fluid, almost to the point of seeming like a pre-rendered cutscene, and that fatality at 1:47 is just plain nasty. If you don’t speak German, you may not understand what the commentators in the clip are saying, however, certain phrases like “combo”, “old school”, “finishing moves”, and “button-mashing” are obviously universal. Long live fighting games.
