Don’t be fooled—Machete wasn’t a blockbuster. It fared well enough with many filmgoers to greenlit a sequel. And now comes word from franchise star Danny Trejo of director Robert Rodriguez finishing up the script for first planned sequel—Machete Kills:
“I asked him when he was going to write it and he says it’s written, so we can get started pretty quick…We went all over the world with that movie and people kept having me sign these Machete action figures, it was a lot of fun. I don’t even think Robert Rodriguez even expected that reception and now everyone is waiting for Machete 2 so hurry up Robert Rodriguez!”
As of Rodriguez schedule isn’t already busy. Its good to see Trejo returning and getting work, which is something Lindsay Lohan could be looking forward to as well.
