The latest issue of Edge gets the Batman: Arkham City exclusive and breaks down the latest additions of the game sequel. So what’s new? Here’s a brief checklist of what to expect:

– “Bane can now team up with Batman for a series of sub-missions that see the unlikely duo tracking down shipments of chemical contraband.”
– “There will be entirely new gadget editions, and the latest to be unveiled is the Remote Electrical Charge (REC). A jury rigged shotgun variant at heart, it grants an instant spark-splattered knock back to foes, or far worse if they’re clad in metal armor and can be used to turn and adversaries breaking weapons of their own into unreliable allies, as they twitch and shudder after being hit.”
– The new REC gadget has the ability machine gun baddies to fire uncontrollably and leave them vulnerable. It’s also said to be very useful against the Joker’s thugs, as well as during puzzle missions.
– Expect up to four hours of Catwoman gameplay
– The Arkham city storyline is set to be bigger than the previous entry, minus the side-missions. Also, even if you fail a side-quest, you can return to it at a later time after upgrading gadgets and abilities.
