Bethesda has yet to make any announcements regarding a sequel to its critically acclaimed title, Dishonored. The gaming community is obviously anticipating a follow-up for the game, which makes this recent bit of news extremely rewarding to fans. A recent off-screen photo of a slide presentation was leaked online, showing the title Dishonored 2 with the caption “Witness the full reveal at E3 2014” listed below it.
Leaked by an anonymous tipster via email who sent the image to AllGamesBeta, the slide also carries the hashtag #DarknessofTyvia, implying the sequel will go by the subtitle. Granted anyone could have pulled off some Photoshop work to make the slide believable for the most anxious fanboy, nothing’s been confirmed as of yet from Bethesda or developer Arkane Studios. This however does lead to some assumption of the game possibly being shown behind close doors before the year’s biggest gaming expo. Take it with a grain of salt for now.
E3 2014 is set for June 10 through 12 and will be at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
