The luxury automaker announced plans to introduce a new DTM vehicle to the market come 2014, which would be based on BMW’s upcoming high-performance M4 model. Looks like the Germans plan on releasing another racer this holiday season—one that will be eligible for the 2014 TUDOR United SportsCar Championship and European FIA events. World Car Fans is citing a company insider, who claims the vehicle will be a “cost effective” car for racing teams seeking an affordable and user-friendly speedster. Pricing is rumored at an est. $88,300 with it possibly featuring a TwinPower 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine. Speed racers might want to hold off on purchasing a new whip till the holidays.
