Months after Samsung unveiled its new Galaxy camera phone to the pubic, AT&T has decided to officially confirm the launch date for the upcoming Galaxy S4 Zoom. The Android 4.2-powered handset features a 16MP rear camera matted with a 10x optical zoom lens, alongside a 4.3-inch qHD display, dual-core CPU, 8GB internal storage, 1.5GB of RAM, and 2,330mAh battery. Not the best specs, but in all seriousness, you’re more interested in the shooter than anything else.
Check out the brief features list below:
– 10x Optical Zoom: Capture beautiful images from far away or up close accurately and easily
– Smart Modes: Choose from one of 25 pre-set camera modes, like Sunset, Best Face, Drama, and Panorama to capture the best photo possible
– 16-megapixel BSI CMOS Sensor: The built-in Optical Image Stabilizer helps keep the camera perfectly still, reducing blur and stabilizing the image
AT&T is also including the advanced camera phone as part of its tablet promotion, which includes a free Galaxy Tab 3 (7-inch) upon adding the device to its shared data plan. In addition, Ma Bell’s offering a $100 promotional gift card for trading in an old smartphone.
The Galaxy S4 Zoom hits retailers on November 8th for $200 (w/two-year contract)
