Last week’s official trailer unveiling of X-Men: Days of Future Past set the social mediaverse ablaze with tons of excitement, story arc theories, and takeaways. The latest November issue of Entertainment Weekly gathers more insight on the film, compiling a number of quotes from the cast and insight from director Bryan Singer. One of the most interesting pieces of info shared in the cover story revolves around one of Wolverine’s biggest decisions when traveling back in time to stop the mutant apocalypse.

It’s revealed that when Wolverine travels back in time, one of the first thing he and Professor X do is break Magneto out of jail. Central to Wolverine’s mission is the need to stop Trask from creating the Sentinels and to stop Jennifer Lawrence’s Mystique from doing something that Singer doesn’t specify
The Mystique tidbid is quite intriguing. Let’s see how that plays out. X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters May 23, 2014.
