Since last month’s iPhone 5S/5C announcements, rumors had Apple unveiling its next-generation iPads sometime this month. According to a report from AllThingsD, the Cupertino Clan will be introducing its newest tablets at a press event being held October 22nd in California. Unnamed sources claim the event will focus on the new iPad(s), the updated Mac Pro, and Mac OS X Mavericks software. It already sounds more exciting than last month’s fiasco. Whether we’ll see an iPad Mini with Retina Display or iPad 5 is unknown, as Apple refuses to inform the public of its announcements at the moment. However, we should expect a significant overhaul of the iPad line to come in the next two weeks.
