Fanboys have been up in arms over Michael Bay’s involvement with the reboot and all claims of our beloved turtles in a half shell actually being aliens. But every cloud has a silver lining, and in the case of the TMNT reboot, it looks to be the cast. The film is set to star Megan Fox as April O’Neil, as she follows the lives of the crime-fighting foursome. If those rumors of Shredder and Krang hold up, this could actually be as surprising as the first Transformers film.

Based on the comic book of the same name, this neo-noir crime film is the much anticipated sequel to 2005’s Frank Miller’s Sin City. Director Robert Rodriguez returns with a star-studded cast consisting of Jessica Alba, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rosario Dawson, Jamie King, Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Christopher Meloni and many others. Now whether Miramax and Rodriguez commit to the release date has yet to be determined.
