The fourth installment of the widely successful Transformers series finds the entire cast and premise restructured under the vision of director Michael Bay. Mark Wahlberg steps in to play the lead of Cade Yeager—a single father and struggling inventor who must eventually work with the Autobots to protect Earth from the Decepticons. Needless to say, the recent Super Bowl spot has piqued our interests.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

Release date: July 11th
The Rise of the Planet of the Apes sequel extends the story of ape leader Ceasar, as he leads his race of intellectual chimps to worldwide dominance. Granted the absence of James Franco could hurt the film’s box office potential, new arrivals Gary Oldman, Jason Clarke, and Keri Russell should welcome some great performances. But we’ll keep our opinions bottled in till after the credits roll and we see the extended ending.
