The Motion-Launch Experience
Completely deviating from Samsung’s motion gesture principles, HTC looks to streamline the process of interacting with your phone by optimizing the One to tackle on simpler motion-centric commands. For example, placing the phone to your ear will automatically answer calls, where as voice controls can open contacts and a single swipe across the screen allows users to access apps. But if you ask us, the ability to double tap the screen and awaken it without having to press the power button is by far the phone’s coolest attribute. Another dope addition to the experience is the company’s new Dot View case, which is designed to display updates (notifications, time, weather, etc.) and makes it possible to screen calls or track reminders without heading to the front screen. That’s a pretty dope accessory.
