Sense 6.0
Our favorite Android skin receives a notable upgrade that brings forth a series of unique facets to enhance mobile interaction and UI navigation. Notice the Home and Back haptic keys have been replaced with on-screen buttons, also integrating a Multi-Windows button into the mix that was previously accessed when pressing the Home button twice to view and close out programs running in the background. This overhaul comes courtesy of HTC’s handset running the latest version of Android KitKat.
The infamous universal news feed known as BlinkFeed returns and is further customized to fit a reader’s best interests by allowing them to delegate selected content to specifically created channels. Searching for content is a breeze with the Custom Topics option helping users narrow down their selections to focus on favorited key subjects.
HTC also went on to program a camera shortcut that can be activated when the display is in sleep mode by hitting the volume button and holding the device in landscape orientation. More custom themes and fonts, along with a new Sense TV Sports widget is being welcomed, with the latter dishing out real-time sports scores and stats.
