20. Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Vegas
Platform(s): PC, PlayStation 3, PSP, and Xbox 360
Year: 2006
An argument can be made over which Rainbox Six title deserves top billing. While fanatical Tom Clancy fans would place the 1998 PC-released version at No. 1, we feel Vegas was the one entry to push the boundaries of counter terrorist gameplay. An immersive tactical shooter set in Sin City, the game provided a solid single-player campaign consisting of an engaging storyline and fantastic visual design. Though it was through its favorable gameplay and widely popular multiplayer where Vegas earned serious brownie points on the competitive gaming circuit. —AG
