TechRadar’s Amazon Smartphone Concept Should Be The Real Thing

Minor details on the upcoming Amazon Smartphone might have surfaced online, but the one thing we have yet to see is its full design. Earlier rumors had HTC manufacturing the Android-powered handset, though all rumblings seemed to have cooled down. But the guys over at Techradar decided to create its own rendering of the device based on all those ideas and leaks. And not for nothing, it looks pretty official.

Billed as the “ultimate home shopping device,” the smartphone looks to feature 5 front-facing cameras that track eye movements for its special UI experience. The coolest part about the technology is it will assist a user when reading by detecting when their eyes reach the end of a page and turn it automatically. Its interface elements supposedly move in 3D form upon glancing at the screen as well.

Regarding internals, the phone carries a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, 64GB of Amazon cloud storage, and a 5-inch Full HD Display. LTE connection and a Mayday button can also be found here. Watch the video to see the concept in full.
