With NASCAR’s popularity growing among teens and young adults, Mazda has decided to make the transition into the auto racing scene with its own high-powered creation: the Mazda 6 Diesel Racecar. Equipped with the manufacturer’s patented SkyActiv-Diesel Engine, this on-track speedster takes advantage of numerous performance perks from great fuel mileage to strong horsepower output. Not to mention it is one sick-looking vehicle. Mazda rode its special edition racecar into the Jacob Javits Center for the 2013 NY Auto Show and allowed Director of Public Relations, Jeremy Barnes, to give EvolveTV and our new video correspondent, Ashle Danger (@AshleDanger), an up-close look with the racer.
