Starcade 98 Kidman vs Rey Jr. vs Juvi by Matthew_Hennigan77

WCW Starrcade ‘98

Year: 1998
Must-watch match: Juventud Guerrera vs. Rey Mysterio, Jr. vs. Billy Kidman
If there was any reason to watch a WCW pay-per-view after WWF took back the ratings, Starrcade ’98 presented the strongest case. Despite the terrible booking and dismantling of the original NWO, the show presented some quality bouts between Chris Jericho vs. Konnan and Diamond Dallas Page vs. The Giant. And the main event saw Goldberg and Kevin Nash duke it out during the twilight of their careers, setting Nash up as the Goldberg killer who snatched the title away from the unbeaten phenomenon, with outside interference of course. Then came the finger poke of death the following night on Nitro, which buried the company.

Taz vs Bam Bam Bigelow ECW Living Dangerously… by TheWholefknShow420

Living Dangerously ’98

Year: 1998
Must-watch match: Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Taz
The infamous encounter between Taz and Bam Bam destroying the ring remains one of the biggest WTF moments in wrestling history. Even after falling through the ring, both grapplers finished the match with Bigelow dragging Taz out of the hole and pinning him. Watch the match and you’ll see why the flamed-tattoo wrestler was arguably the most underrated talent at the time. Vam Dam’s 27-minute classic with 2 Cold Scoprio, along with Sabu and The Sandman’s Dueling Canes match can’t be overlooked either.
