The Hobbit: There and Back Again

The final chapter in The Hobbit trilogy was welcomed by a recorded message from Peter Jackson, as Warner Bros. exhibited a new production diary and some quick shots featuring dramatic stares and a flying dragon. Ending the presentation was a voiceover of Gandolf saying, “The time is upon us where all must choose what side we’re on.” Yes, very disappointing, but at least it’s an update on the film.

Dumb and Dumber To

No one really expects much from the upcoming Farrelly Brothers sequel, especially since the last Dumb and Dumber film was pure trash. So it’s actually quite warming to hear the recently shared footage of Dumber and Dumber To is…brace yourself…hilarious. The shown reel begins in a metal hospital where Harry (Jeff Daniels) is visiting Lloyd (Jim Carrey), who’s rocking a grizzly beard and sitting comatosely in a wheelchair, forcing Harry to beg his best friend to finally speak up after 20 years. The end result: Lloyd looks up and says, “Got ya!” Then another wild scene with Harry trying to remove Lloyd’s catheter followed. Dear God, LOL!
