In only a few weeks after Jay-Z dropped the paradoxical hit: D.O.A (Death of Auto-Tunes), the parent company of voice mechanizing software -Antares Audio Technologies – is reporting a boost in sales. According to the NY Times:
…Antares says sales are up.
“The Jay-Z controversy is great,” said Marco Alpert, vice president of marketing at Antares. “We couldn’t buy P.R. like this.”
This is about as ironic as having a song shit talkin about how widespread Auto-Tune usage has become, that’s produced by Kanye, the guy who skyrocted Auto-Tune usage into the stratosphere. (no disrespect to T-Pain)
