Black Friday Guns

What kind of country we live in, where on the biggest shopping day of the year, one of the biggest product sellers are firearms? Oh wait, the United States. According to a report in the print version of Friday’s USA Today, guns were a hot commodity alongside flat-screen TVs and smartphones on Black Friday, as the FBI had been swapped with nearly 129,166 background check requests: reaching a single-day, all-time high of 32 percent. Weapon industry experts accredited the surge to a “convergence of factors” such as first-time shooters seeking a firearm and women being drawn into sport shooting and hunting. Insane. Spokesman for the National Shooting Sports Foundation, Larry Keane, claims at least 25 percent of the shopping crowd were first-time buyers, mainly women. He also went on to say “It’s really pretty amazing.” Uh yea, not the best way to put it dude. So out of curiosity, did you go gun shopping on Black Friday?
