We weren’t shocked to hear Verizon is out of stock of the Motorola Droid X. Especially with all the hype surrounding the launch. While early orders are said to be shipping according to schedule, if you weren’t fast enough, you’ll notice that the site now lists the device with a shipping date of July 23rd. It isn’t clear just yet whether retail outlets are facing the same shortage of units at the moment, though there were many reports hinting that inventory of the Droid X could be quite low.
