Despite Instagram’s efforts to dominate the mobile video-sharing sector, Vine continues to grow and is still snatching up subscribers. The company just rolled out a couple of new features for the app that allows users to edit and save posts before sharing. A new tool called “Sessions” lets you save up to 10 posts simultaneously and run edits at any given time by clicking on a new icon located at the bottom right side of the camera. The biggest addition is by far the “Time Travel” feature—granting users the opportunity to remove, reorganize, and replace shots within a post. This is done by selecting the green bar from the camera during shooting mode and tapping edit.

The company touched on the decision via official blog post: “Vine was built for one purpose: to make it easy for people to capture life in motion and share it with the world. That is the reason we built the Vine camera, and it’s why we continue to improve upon and build new tools for your creations, nurturing the balance between power and simplicity that you’ve come to expect from us.”

Pretty simple. Let’s see what Instagram got to say in the next coming months.
