Marvel’s latest press release confirms Natalie Portman (Star Wars: Episodes I, II and II) has officially joined the cast of the highly anticipated Thor film. The former Oscar nominee will play Jane Foster, Thor’s first love, and studio execs have also confirmed her character will undergo some treatment for the big screen adaptation. Thor is scheduled to be released on May 20, 2011.
