The Revenge Verde Decorates the Road Green

The Land of the Free has its patent supercar for the decade: The Revenge Verde. Australia’s Peter Collorafi takes all the credit for this stunning speedster, assembling a vehicle from the “best of the best” components from American-made supercars. The Verde features three drive chain and power train options; a Ford 605hp motor, GM 638hp motor, or an HP2g V8-engine; producing a climatic speed of 200 mph plus, 100mpg, 400 horsepower and an acceleration of 0-60mph in 3.5 seconds.

Environmentally charismatic, the Verde’s HP2g engine runs on the green alcohol-based fuel known as E-85, which reduces green house gas emissions. This V8 is the first to be approved by the EPA, making the Verde the first vehicle to utilize the Hp2g technology. The Revenge Verde is far from your average supercar, as Collarafi puts it best:

“We use carbon fiber batteries that are recharged as the car travels under gas power – usually only under acceleration. When the car reaches its cruising speed it only needs around 15hp to maintain it, that’s when the batteries kick in and the engine shuts down – no fuel consumption and no emissions.”

The Verde comes dipped in 20-inch aluminum black chrome wheels and breaks are controlled by four piston Brembo calibers that are copulated to carbor fiber rotors and aluminum center hubs. Talk about a mouthful right there. Aluminum panels cast the hood, truck lid and doors as well, but vehicle’s most appealing feature is the accommodating entryway for both the driver and passenger. CEO/President of Revenge Design Inc, Peter Collarafi has created a sports car for the bigger and husky speedsters:

“Part of the roof opens with the door to allow bigger guys to get in and out of the car easily…Too many muscle cars have these tiny little doors that make it almost impossible not to bang you heading getting in and equally impossible to exit the car. Not in the Verde, though.”

Callarafi informs everyone his creation will come in 8 different colors, so all non-lime fans should find closure with that announcement. At the moment, over 3000 Verdes are being produced and distributed across the globe, with the first batch set for release at the end of 2010. Hope your ballin’, because the projected MSRP ranges around $200,000. Are you willing to break the bank? The Revenge Verde is that tempting.
