Since the HTC One launched back in April, we’ve seen two color variations hit the market: Black and Silver. Ironically, the company posted press images of a third shade, which we all speculated would be released in the US sometime this summer. We were half right on that one. The red HTC One does exist and will be launched, but only under UK phone retailer Phones4U. So in other words, it’s international-only.
All internals remain the same with Qualcomm’s 1.7GHz Snapdragon 600 CPU running the show. Mid-July will be the official release window for the Android-powered smartphone. Whether we’ll see the red HTC One hit the states is unknown. Though we feel it could be a long shot considering the HTC One Google Play Edition’s release and the rumored One Mini being discussed at the moment.
