2011 Ford Evos Concept

Ford Evos Concept

The Evos may not be a car that’s been put into production as of yet, but it serves as a glimpse into the future of Ford designs. Aggressive and stylish, it’s a composite of design features crafted to appeal to a global market, and will serve as a figurehead for Ford’s “One Ford” initiative, which aims to sell single models globally as opposed to region specific models. But all innovation doesn’t end with the exterior. The Evos is packed with future technologies Ford hopes to incorporate into their upcoming vehicles: including cloud connectivity, digital personal assistants, and a beefier, more robust Ford Sync system. The American automaker plans to follow up on the concept next January at the Detroit Auto show with a prototype closer to what you’d expect to see on the road in years to come.

2011 Cadillac Ciel Concept

Cadillac Ciel Concept

Drawing inspiration from an era of big dreams and bigger cars, the Cadillac Ciel is a slice of Americana for the eco-conscious generation. Inspired by the “natural beauty of the California coast,” the Ciel’s low-ride height, long chassis, and 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V6, accompanied with the increasingly common hybrid system of today’s cars, is all characteristically Cadillac. Toss in some flare like 22-inch wheels, real-wood trimming, and reverse hinged suicide doors in the rear: you’re left with a marvelous concept vehicle reminiscent of the big body Lacs of yester-year.
