Final Fantasy X-3

Most Final Fantasy talks have been reserved for the E3 announced FFXV and upcoming X/X-2 remastered edition hitting the PS3. With the latter released in Japan this week, there’s been hearsay of Square Enix considering a third installment to the X series. All rumors stem from an interview featured in the Ultimania book with scenario writer Kazushige Nojima discussing the possibility of Final Fantasy X-3.

“If there’s enough demand, then we may possibly see new developments. I would personally like to see a sequel like X-3,” says Nojima. We wouldn’t put it past the developer to have such a title already in production, though no official word has been shared from Square Enix. Until then, fanboys can take heed to Nojima’s words and share their interest online, which would hopefully get back to the publisher. Just wishful thinking.
