The iPad rumor mill never seizes to fizzle, especially as we enter the New Year. New reports suggest the Cupertino Clan have their next successor in the works dubbed by the press as the iPad Pro. So what’s the big deal? Word is the latest Apple tablet might ditch the signature Retina Display in favor of higher-res panels, mainly 2K and 4K screens. The News Tribe suggests the move could be made to compete against Amazon Kindle Fire HDX and other Android-based tablets, which boast high-resolution displays and gained tons of notoriety in the visual department via reviews. So if the talks hold up, the new iPad Pro models could launch sometime in Q2 2014. That’s all speculation btw.
