Pre-Order Alien Isolation and Play as Original 1979 Movie Cast

While there have been a plethora of action sic-fi games based upon James Cameron’s epic 1979 horror film, most have fallen very flat. Alien Isolation seeks to be the one to stand out from that pack, and developer The Creative Assembly has shown that they really have done their homework in studying the source material. So much so, in fact, that the characters and scenes from the original Alien movie will actually be playable to those who pre-order the title.

Ripley, Dallas, Lambert, Brett, Parker, and Ash will be available in two missions. A basic pre-order will get you one of those mission; you’ll upgrade to the Nostromo Edition, where the crew attempts to lure the alien into the ships airlock. The other mission is special; you’ll have to pre-order from “select retailers” to receive the Last Survivor mission, featuring Ripley escaping the Nostromo and boarding the Narcissus shuttle. Isolation hits stores October 7.
